I haven’t watch much romance movies. I have fascination over action and thriller movies as I love comic/ superpower stories more. My childhood was covered by many cartoons in “Cartoon Network” channel. Cartoons during 20s were something else and people who watched those cartoons will be a forever fan of “Cartoon Network”. Since my childhood I have a fascination of watching those into a real movie and such movies are a great deal to me. But some romance films have influenced my perception over relationship very well. “Her” is one of the movies that influenced me over relationship. This movie is between a person and an operating system (artificial intelligence. The operating system can adapt the user’s decision and customization and act accordingly. That is how the operating system get to know the emotions of the user. The overall film was shown a futuristic environment where all the technological stuffs act according to the voice command. But the movie showed a color of Retro in my perception which is kind of in between of classic show case along with future tech supports. The cast of the protagonist was “Joaquin Phoenix”. The operating system voice over was done by “Scarlett Johansson”. They both made the relationship very much trustworthy and real. The voice of Scarlett Johansson was very beautiful and natural. Joaquin Phoenix, as usual an amazing actor. I loved his acting and showing the emotions and body language made it very much clear that the protagonist was an amazing man. There is a beautiful song named “The moon song” sang originally by Karen O. In the film Scarlett Johansson sang for the moment and it was very much pleasing. The movie showed how a different kind of relationship grows even if the couples can not see or meet each other. They just talks to each other and find the attraction of living with each other as long as they want and as long as they can support each other. The operating system helps the person as his girl friend and act so well in his development that at certain time the viewer would not believe that the operating system is an artificial intelligence. This movie shows how a good relationship grows and how much people involved in the relationship matters.
This poster art was done in photoshop using my Huion “Inspiroy Q11K V2” drawing tablet. The resolution of the art is 1536x 2732 pixel. A little weird resolution as it does not fit in any recognized pixel. The art was one of my study work to know how much color blending I can do in my art and I was get to know the “Opacity” tool in photoshop. As a result, I had to crop or expand the canvas size of this art. I also took the official poster of the film as a reference. This movie is also an underrated movie. Not much people knows about it and that is why if feels more special to me. This is a selective movie that is not much popular but gave a big realization and it makes a great importance in my life. This movie will always be in my memories.
